Through our new topic ‘Bright Sparks’ we have been exploring light and dark through many engaging activities. We enjoyed learning about fireworks and wrote words to describe how fireworks sound in literacy as well as painting our own fireworks scene. We learned about Diwali - the Hindu Festival of Light and created our own Rangoli patterns through play and ICT. We also enjoyed exploring shiny objects and talked about the ways they can reflect light. We look forward to continuing to learn about different sources of light over the next few weeks.
