Harry, our Community Police Officer visited us today at school to talk about firework safety and the dangers and responsibilities of using them. 👮
We now know to never go back to a lit firework, never put one in your pocket and never throw fireworks. 💥
They should be kept in a box and only purchased by adults. 📦
If using a sparkler with adult supervision ensure you light one at a time, remember they get hotter than a deep fat fryer. Please wear gloves if you can and stand well back from it. 🧤
When you are finished put it in a bucket of water. 🪣
Never give a sparkler to a child under 5. ✨
Be safe when you are Trick or Treating. 🚪
Make sure your pets are safe and keep them in doors. 🏡
