We are delighted to announce that St James’s Nursery Unit has been awarded an M&S Buddy Bench for our participation in the Youngminds ‘Hello Yellow’ mental health initiative in October! The bench has been made from 95kg of recycled plastic collected from M&S stores. 

This fantastic bench will provide a special place in our nursery where children can connect, share feelings, and build friendships - a perfect way to promote mental wellbeing and kindness among our little ones. 

A big thank you to M&S and the Hello Yellow initiative for this incredible opportunity. And thank you to our wonderful children and families for embracing this campaign. 

We can’t wait to see the Buddy Bench in action, helping our children build even stronger friendships and supporting their emotional well-being everyday.
