Active Learning in Year 5/6

We enjoyed an active numeracy lesson this week where we created number lines from -10 to 10. Working in groups we were given a series of questions to answer. Each group had to race against one another to get the correct answer first. We incorporated dribbling a basketball into the race for an extra challenge.
