Our mathemagician focus for the month is 'Active learning in Maths', so our class have been busy getting practical during our numeracy lessons this week. We used a variety of different materials to represent numbers with two decimal places. We discussed how the value of each digit is ten times smaller as it moves down our place value columns and then we put our understanding into practice. We even had two special guests (Ms Tubridy and Ms Lavery) come and see our amazing work!
