This week, our class took our maths learning outside to practise our calculations using negative numbers. We had fun creating a game using cones and a number line we made from chalk! Also this week, we looked at some tricky word problems in conjunction with our whole school maths focus of the month: using numicon. We supported each other and used lots of great maths talk to work out our answers. We made our lesson practical, active and fun by incorporating numicon to help us solve the problems and present our solutions. Well done!
