Y2/3 have been exploring and learning about Chinese New Year through stories. The children really enjoyed the story 'Chopsticks' which was about a little mouse who helped a wooden dragon to fulfil the one wish he always had...to fly. The class were so excited about the dragons in their stories that they decided to create their own 3D Chinese dragon art. It is amazing how easy the children transformed a few paper plates into these wonderful masterpieces!
