To celebrate the end of Bike to School Week we had a special assembly and visit from our Community Police Officers Michael and Harry. They helped us to understand the importance of always wearing seatbelts in our cars and wearing helmets when we are on our bikes.
They taught us about all the places we can safely cross the roads and that bike users, car users, and pedestrians all have to be safe and responsible on our roads and paths.
We all took part in safety demonstrations including the ‘Green Cross Code’ and about how to be extra careful of crossing the road and be vigilant of electric cars and bikes.
