Miss Loughran’s class are learning about buildings and construction for their topic, Build It. The children went on a walk around the local area to observe the different types of buildings. The children were able to expand their vocabulary, using terms such as semi-detached and terraced, while describing houses. Inside the classroom, the children have been creating wonderful structures and building with a variety of materials. The children have explored Lego, snowflakes, play dough, cardboard, foam and many other materials to build their creations.
