On January 29th the Nursery boys and girls celebrated Chinese New Year! It is the year of the snake. To celebrate, Holly in Miss Cullen’s class gifted each child in our Nursery Unit a lucky red envelope containing a coin (a Chinese tradition to give a gift on special occasions). We are so grateful for his lovely act of kindness. We all made paper snakes which you can see hanging in our room to celebrate the year of the snake and we collaborated to create a class Chinese dragon which is also on display!
