At St James’s Nursery Unit, we embraced the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day with a vibrant “Green Day” celebration.
Our nursery transformed into a lively sea of green as children and staff alike donned their favourite green attire.
Engaging our children’s creativity and fine motor skills, we embarked on crafting salt dough shamrocks. Each child moulded and decorated their own shamrock, creating unique keepsakes that they proudly took home.
Our celebration extended to exploring Irish cuisine with special snacks. Children sampled soda bread farls paired with cheese. Additionally, we prepared a vibrant medley of green fruits and vegetables, including green apple, olives, avocado, pears, cucumber sticks, and green grapes, promoting healthy eating in a fun and thematic way.
