Christmas comes early to St. James’s Learning Support Classes
Laura Coey from Sustrans visited us today to gift us a brand new all-ability bike that she was able to secure on our behalf. The pupils in Mrs Cross’ Learning Support class are delighted to have received it and have already adopted it and put it to good use in their playground.
Mike’s Bikes in Lisburn also very kindly donated the pupils in Mrs Magill’s Learning Support Class a bike with stabilisers which will help us as we strive to make activities like Ditch the Stabilisers and Cycle Skills day accessible to all our students.
We are very grateful for their kindness and generosity and look forward to expanding the variety and type of activities available to our pupils and our first year doing Cycling Proficiency Programme in the Spring and Summer terms.
St. James’s is proud to be a Gold Active Travel School and are looking forward to BIG things in 2024.
