On 21 April, two representatives from St Joseph’s Centre for the Deaf came in to talk to children in Years 4-7 about showing more understanding of people with hearing difficulties.
Mary-Rose told the children all about her experiences throughout her life living with having a hearing difficulty. The children enjoyed learning the alphabet and some other useful sign language and were even able to very quickly pick up how to sign their names.
