Some of our Key Stage Two classes including Year 4/5 Mr McNamee, Year 6 Mrs O’Neill, Year 6 Mr Farrell and the LSC2 class with Mrs Magill took part in a workshop about citizenship and democracy with Fiona Payne.
Fiona is a Parliamentary Education Officer and visits lots of schools all over Northern Ireland.
Together we learned about our human rights and responsibilities as well as the jobs of our elected representatives.
We know more about having the right to our own opinion, and that we must also listen to others, and afford each other the right to speak and be heard.
