As the leaves change and the air turns crisp, we have been excited to embrace the beauty of autumn with our nursery children this October.
We have enjoyed spending time outdoors observing the vibrant colours of autumn, discovering the different shapes and textures found in nature. The children have enjoyed using natural objects like leaves and pine cones in their learning. We have enjoyed our scented playdough, as well as exploring with clay to model our own little hibernating hedgehogs. We have been learning about where our food comes from, with a special focus on fruits and vegetables harvested during autumn in our farm shop. We have explored mixing colours this month to create orange!
