The Eco council took a trip on Friday to Glas-na-Bradan Wood to help the Woodland Trust plant some trees.
Along with a few other groups, the team managed to plant an amazing 2,100 trees altogether.
They had a fantastic time getting stuck in and planting the trees, blessed with a beautiful sunny day.
There were a range of trees planted including Oak, Birch, Cherry and Fern.
Some quotes of the day included, ”I’m imagining coming back here when I’m older and seeing a forrest” (Eamonn P.7) and ”This is the second best day of my life.” (Ruby P.5)
