The children from Year 1 to Year 7 were very lucky to have Noel Lyons from Arc21 come to our school. The children enjoyed some practical and engaging workshops that encouraged learning around recycling, where our rubbish goes and looking after our planet. They even got to smell a sample of what the dump smells like, it wasn’t very pleasant!
Year 1-3 and LSC1 planted seeds using newspaper to make pots. 🪴
Year 4 and LSC2 made their own Eco Warrior badges. ♻️
Year 5 made their own alien spaceship. 🚀
Year 6 and 7 used an online device to answer quiz style questions about recycling. 📱 🌍
