Today many of our Year 4 children received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. At 11:00 am mass Fr David celebrated with us and other parish children. The choir sang beautifully assisted by Miss Rooney and Liam Friel on keyboard and were models of good behaviour. Well done! A big thank you to Mr Jones for helping parents prepare the children for this most important sacrament. Thank you also to Sister Kathleen and Jane for their support during the practices. The celebrations continued over in the Parish Hall where the Parish Committee had prepared a lovely spread of drinks and treats. Thank you ladies! We hope that our families enjoy the rest of this beautiful day.
