We welcomed lots of family members to a very busy Grandparents’ Day in Y6. Students and adults teamed up to build their own stories using a set of images taken from a secret storybook. Our participants had to be eagle-eyed in spotting clues that allowed them to sequence the pictures before writing their own narrative. We then shared and compared our stories with one and other before listening to the original story: Leon and Bob. Lots of literacy skills on display and a few exhausted adults after all that hard work!
