In Mr Mc Namee’s Year 4 class, we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by reciting a poem in Irish called ‘Lámh, Lámh Eile’. After that, Sophie danced a famous Irish set dance in her heavy shoes called the St. Patrick’s Day Jig. This was followed by everyone in the class singing the world famous ‘Molly Malone’. It was a fantastic day and we enjoyed every minute of it!
