We have been getting very practical and active with our latest topics in P7RF as we have been improving our estimating skills. We thought of ways in which we could make our estimations even more accurate when studying area, measure and weight. We started by comparing weights before measuring with a variety of apparatus to check our work. Before estimating area, we decided to use old newspapers to show exactly what a square metre looks like. This helped us predict the size of various places around our school. We also learned that we can fit 14 P7s on one square metre!
