Today four members of the Pupil Council went to Glengormley Library to meet the Children's Commissioner Chris Quinn and his colleague John Mc Cullough from NICCY. With other children from local primary schools, they learned about the articles that make up the United Nation Charter for the Rights of the Child in a fun and active way. The children looked at the exhibition on Children's Rights. They wrote and posted some ideas that they believe will improve the lives of children in our school community. They chatted with Chris and asked him to come and visit our school. We look forward to meeting him again in the future.
