On Monday 13th of March year 7 students represented St. James’s at the Newtownabbey Athletics Heats. With the NI sports Hall Athletics final at Lisburn Leisureplex next week on Wednesday 5th April. Congratulations to all of those year 7 who took part.
Year 7 enjoyed a fantastic day with the opportunity to develop their athletics skills further, to top the day off Callum O’Neill placed 2nd overall in the 60m Sprint, Keith Calungsod placed 2nd overall in the 40m hurdles, Katie Fulton placed 2nd overall in the 60m sprint and Harry Nicholson and Aimee Kerr placed 3rd overall in the boys and girls speed bounce.
Congratulations to Callum and Katie who have been selected to participate in the NI Sports Hall Final at Lisburn Leisureplex next week!
