Last Wednesday, 15th March we received our final installation of fish (Tetras). They are doing really well, as are all of the fish and snails that we have been very lucky to have received from Maiden Head Aquatics at Hillside Nursery.
During the 8 week Fish Keeper Fry Project our pupils have whole heartedly enjoyed naming the fish, learning about them and caring for them. The children look forward to seeing them from day to day and regularly make enquiries about them.
The Fish Keeper Project has proven to be a real success story and one our whole school community has enjoyed.
So much so infact that Mrs Cunningham has decided that she would like to make them permanent residents of St. James's Primary School and Nursery Unit.
We are overjoyed at this news and would like to say a big 'thank you' and are looking forward to keeping the fish tank in our school foyer in the future.
