In Mr Mc Namee’s P4/5 class, we celebrated Pancake Tuesday. We talked about the meaning behind the celebration and revised our instructional writing skills for the recipe. Then the fun part - we made and ate the pancakes! They were the thicker ‘Scotch/Drop’ type of pancakes and we spread butter on the top. They were a big success and other staff enjoyed the extra ones. The children said that every Tuesday should be a ‘Pancake’ Tuesday!
