As part of our PATHS programme in school, we are trying to continue to make our playground a safe and fun place to be.
31 enthusiastic Year 6 and 7 pupils were trained by our regional PATHS coach a few weeks ago. They undertook a full day's training and were keen to learn what it takes to be a PATHS Playground Pal.
This week, they received their certificates and began duty in the playground, playing games with the younger children and solving problems using the PATHS strategies across the school.
The programme has been a success so far and the Playground Pals are enjoying their new roles!
