During Literacy, we found out more about the life of Helen Keller, who, although deaf and blind from the age of 18 months, became famous travelling the world, giving lectures and helping other deaf and blind people to live full, happy lives.
We studied and practised using sign language. We also used Braille symbols to write words for others to decode.
