The Mayor visits St James's
22nd Sep 2020
On Tuesday 15th September the Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Mr Jim Montgomery, visited our school. He met with some of our Year 3 children and they gave him a warm welcome to St James's! This special visit happened because the Council is promoting 'Inclusivity' and our school was included in the project. The younger children in the school were given a special colouring book and crayons. The beautiful images in the book promote inclusion and diversity. They are a great focus for our class discussions. We are delighted with how well our Year 3 children spoke to the Mayor and for showing him how kind and friendly the children in St James's are!
