Year 2 had a lovely surprise when Naomi Draper, the artist they have been working with this year, came for a real life visit to their classroom! As the art lessons have normally been conducted over the interactive whiteboard, it was a busy 'hands on' day with the class for Naomi Draper. Usually they talk to Naomi in her art studio in Boyle, Roscommon. The children have really enjoyed using the web cam and microphone to communicate during the art lessons this year. Yesterday, Year 2 printed with flowers and made their own hand made paper! A very busy, noisy and messy day was had by the pupils and plenty of fun and amazing art occurred.
