Walk to School Week is underway in St. James's and we are hoping to encourage even more children to enjoy walking to school. Despite a very wet start the number of pupils joining the walking bus is growing each day. Over fifty pupils walked on Wednesday!
Children are walking from the 'Park and Ride' escorted by Mrs Cross and Mrs Dallat, while Mrs Hughes and Ms McCafferty are gathering plenty of eager pupils to join their bus from the bridge at Glenville Road.
Well done to all those pupils and parents for getting involved! What a great way to start your morning by feeling fresh and ready to learn. Even a few less cars around the school grounds each morning is noticeable and a welcome way to help encourage our children to get active.
