Last month St. James's pupils and their parents got healthy by joining in the nationwide campaign to Walk to School Week. During the special week in May children assembled at the Glenville Road and the Park 'n' Ride meeting points. Wearing 'hi-viz' jackets 2 walking buses set off on the journey to school each day. It was well supported throughout the year groups with eager children encouraging parents to abandon the school run in the car and get walking instead! By the Friday more then 70 pupils had got on their walking shoes. Well done pupils! Keep healthy and keep walking!
