Our writing genre for this term is Instructional Writing. As recipes are a type of instructions, we baked bread as a way of demonstrating the steps required to form the instructions. We used imperative verbs and special vocabulary used for cooking and baking such as ‘knead’ and ‘blend’. Everyone enjoyed the delicious bread.
