What a Super September in Nursery!

2nd Oct 2024

Welcome to a new and exciting year in our nursery unit!

September has been such a super month as the children have settled into their new environment, learning the routines and making our nursery their second home. It's been wonderful to watch them become comfortable with the space, get to know their teachers, and form friendships with their new classmates.

This month, we’ve focused on introducing the children to our nursery rules and routines, helping them feel safe and confident. From circle time to snack time, the children are quickly learning how our days work—and they’re doing an amazing job!

Our theme for this month has been ‘All About Me,’ giving the children the chance to share about themselves and learn about their friends. We’ve had lots of fun activities where we talked about our families, favourite things, and what makes each of us special. We’ve also explored circles in our art, play, and group activities, making sure to spot circles all around us. And let’s not forget the colour of the month—yellow! From painting bright yellow suns to playing with yellow playdough, the children have been immersed in this happy colour, learning to identify it in everyday objects and through fun games.

It’s been a fantastic start to the year, and we’re so proud of how well everyone has settled in. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!
