Will the bulb light?
19th Mar 2019
In year 5, we have been learning about electrical conductors and insulators. We set up an electrical circuit but left a gap. We placed various different materials into the gap and observed whether or not a complete circuit was formed. If the circuit was complete, the bulb lit up. That means the material in the gap was a conductor. If the bulb did not light up, the material in the gap was an insulator.
We chose some of the materials to be tested from a list but also tried some of our own ideas.
Have a look at our pictures which show us as budding scientists.
