We had lots of fun getting practical and celebrating Maths Week Ireland 2024 in Y6 this week. We investigated and built 3D shapes from their nets, after identifying and discussing their various properties. After that, we incorporated some maths into our World Around Us lesson, creating timelines of our own lives and of the ancient Egyptian era. Finally, we rounded of our week with some IZAK-9 fun and games, practising a variety of maths skills whilst also incorporating our Thinking Skills and Personal Capabilities. Fantastic work!
