Year 2 made the most of the sunshine and went outside to explore the world around them, fostering a deep respect for nature and it’s inhabitants. Firstly they completed a scavenger hunt and then we looked at the animals in the garden and using loose natural resources, we got into teams and made some animal habitats. The children were delighted with their creations and even more so when they found some mini beasts quickly set up home in them.
