Year 2 got the chance to visit the local Tesco store in Newtownabbey, as part of the 'Farm to Fork' Programme. To help the children learn more about where food comes from, they had a sneak peak behind the shop floor of Tescos.
The boys and girls got to see where the food is stored in the large fridges and freezers. They even got to pop inside the huge freezer!
The pupils were provided with tasty snacks and had fun finding certain coloured fruit and vegetables around the store.
