Year 2/3 enjoyed a cold but fun walk to Abbey Florists today! The children were amazed at how large the shop was and also how busy it was. The class had prepared questions for the ladies in the shop and were very excited to learn all about flowers, the general day to day running of the shop and external deliveries. The highlight of the day was receiving a beautiful bunch of carnations to bring back to school and a beautiful Lily which will be used for our up coming science experiment.
