Today Miss Tubridy’s Year 5 class attended an art exhibition and workshop at the University of Ulster’s Art College. Last year the class worked on the Virtually There Art Project with Mrs Cross and the artist, Naomi Draper. Today was a very special occasion as it marked our last ever Virtually There session! After 5 years of working with Naomi, and on behalf of all the children who have enjoyed the Virtually There experience, we would like wish Naomi all the best for the future and thank her for all the exciting art experiences. Around 125 of St. James’s pupils have been truly inspired and were introduced to art through learning in a most novel way. Virtually there but not forgotten!
