This week, our Y6s travelled back in time to 1922. We took on the role of Howard Carter and acted out his famous discovery of the tomb of King Tutankhamun! We crawled down into our home-made tomb and clambered over the sand, discovering many of the 5,000 treasures he was buried with. What fun and a great stimulus for our big independent write!
