Year 7 have been investigating the interesting world of Micro-organisms. We investigated what conditions mould needs to 'thrive' by observing mouldy bread. We got quite a shock when we investigated how clean our hands actually were. The very kind cooks in our kitchen gave us a tour and Debbie explained to us the strict cleaning and food preparation routines they have to follow in order to keep our food safe.
Finally, we experimented with marbeling inks in Art to create our own 'mouldy' collage pictures.
