A huge congratulations to our first Mathemagicians of 2024! This month, our Mathemagicians were chosen for outstanding active learning in their maths work. Classes have been working hard to incorporate concrete materials, physical activities and games into our learning. Active learning helps us to learn new information and concepts by making connections when we think, discuss, investigate and create. It also helps us stay motivated with our maths work. Our focus for February is to demonstrate our mathematical language and thinking while problem solving!
