Eco Council

Our aim is to make the school environment more Eco friendly. We try to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as we can. We have started our Eco Award to promote Eco throughout our school and try to include all pupils in our campaign. Our ultimate aim is to get the Green Flag to represent our goal. We are trying to encourage our peers to use the correct bins and to not throw rubbish on the ground. We occasionally litter pick around the school and we planted flowers around our school to make it look brighter. We established an Eco song for the school to represent our Eco goals. We held a coat recycling week for people to swap their unused or unwanted coats, which the parents found very useful. We held a competition to design an Eco Warrior to represent our school and display our main aims on our Eco board in the assembly hall. Our Eco warrior is called Earthena and she is now represented  on our monthly certificates. We aim to hold a uniform recycling week to help our school community and allow parents to get the uniform items.
