Maths Week Ireland is a fun focus on maths in schools all around the country. In Mr Mc Namee’s P5, the children have been learning how to measure perimeter. They had lots of fun choosing common classroom objects then drew them, estimated their perimeters, labelled the sides in cm and finally added them up to find the actual perimeters. What a fun way to practise estimating and adding!
