In Year 5, children celebrated World Book Day by re-creating the cover of their favourite book. Two children were also chosen to create a giant version to cover our classroom door. The children chose our class novel ‘The Boy at the Back of the Class’ as our door poster. It’s about a refugee boy and it’s told from the point of view of a classmate. The children love it!
We also took part in a live online PE session which was specially created for World Book Day with school children from all around the north. It was great fun!
