Year 5 made the most of the early summer sun this week as they began their theme of 'Living Things'.
Children went out into the sun-soaked playground and were asked to use their whiteboards to write down anything they could see or hear that they thought was a Living Thing.
Children had some interesting discussions as they debated whether or not objects were Living Things.
After the heated debate, they returned to the welcome shade of the classroom where we discussed the seven characteristics required for something to be classed as a Living Thing.
Mr Tunney's hay fever aside, we had an enjoyable afternoon!
